Lord, my soul feels entirely empty and my heart is incredibly heavy tonight. I ask that You hold my broken pieces together when the waves of loss hit me today. Be my comfort when words fail, be my quiet shelter in this deep sorrow, and remind me that You are close to me even in my deepest tears. Amen.
